Responsibilities
Cinematic planning
- Creating initial plans for the cinematic style that would match the atmosphere of the game including shot sizes and framing.
- Proposed using unconventional angles and shot sizes (extreme close up, slightly off framing, long shots that showcase the architecture of the Oldest House) to make even procedural conversation scenes have more personality and mystery.
- Planning the cinematic content for the reveal trailer.
- Creating placeholder storyboardics.
Engine and cinematic pipeline development
- Adjusting the cinematic tools and pipeline to allow for fast implementation and iteration of conversation scenes.
- Proposed how to add procedural elements into the cinematic pipeline to reduce costs and implementation time.
- Summarized feature requests for cinematic tools that would enable us to push our cinematics to a new level.
