Cinematic Edits

  • Tweaking existing layouts.
    • Improving character placement to better fit with narrative purposes and the polished environments.
    • Animating cinematic cameras.
    • Adjusting subtitle timings and voice implementation.

Cinematic Implementation

  • Implementation of the cinematic assets into Unreal Engine 4.
  • Creating seamless transitions from gameplay into cinematic and vice versa.

Depth of Field

  • Choosing the best focus point for each moment and changing it fluidly whenever necessary.
  • Adjusting DoF after lighting and VFX pass.

Summon Cameras

  • Direction for the cameras of Posh Chocobo/Magic Pot/Moogle-Trio appearance and special attacks.
  • Animating cameras with the in-house battle camera tool within Unreal Engine 4.
  • Choosing best blend ins and outs for summon cameras.

Combat Cameras

  • Direction for the special attack cameras for Rufus and on hit camera for Palmer.
  • Animating cameras with the in-house battle camera tool within Unreal Engine 4.
  • Adjusting cameras for existing special attack cameras for various bosses.

Minigame Cameras

  • Direction for the cameras for Run Wild, Jump Frog and Ribbiting Rollers.
  • Direction for win and lose cameras for King Flan.
  • Animating cameras with the sequencer tool within Unreal Engine 4.
